These plastic business cards were created to underscore the strengths of injection molding as a process, one that offers endless color flexibility and lends itself nicely to the making of multiples.
In designing these, I wanted to play with the idea of designing a business card that can uniquely highlight my current passion for making and pay homage to my childhood hobby assembling plastic model kits.
To that end, the card is a plastic model kit that can be assembled into a mini female engineer figurine.
I designed the character, machined the mold, and operated the injection molding machine to make these in the course of 1 week.
